A favorite among mine, is the book ‘Designing for growth’ by Leidtka and Ogilvie from 2011.
The way they present the differences between designers and business managers is not only humorous, easy to understand – cause of their beautiful visualization and models but the examples are spot on and easy to understand to anyone being a designer (cause we always had a hard time with excel sheets), a business manager ( since we always thought designers were to messy!) or someone in between ( As the authors are a design engineer and a business woman, they frame both fields) This is why this book is interesting. They write about the gifts of managing both skills and back it up with an insightful toolkit to do so! Hurray.
