It is with excitement and joy, I finally can announce that I’ll start my PhD project with Designschool Kolding this coming September.
The relationship was created in April 2014, but with a refusal on the first application from the Danish Higher Ministry of Science and Education last October, I sat a new goal – to apply for an industrial PhD partnership, to be concluded this summer.
In January Designschool Kolding posted a position for a PhD project regarding accessories, aesthetics, welfare design and well-being. I applied, and got the positive answer last week!
This will be the start of something great…
The application is written in Danish, and if you are interested you can read it here: Ph.d.-ansøgning Trine Møller.
Earlier in April and still waiting for the reply, I went to Boston and NY for a study trip – the images from the trip is to be seen below – and frames the focus that I am particular interested in technology and the empathic design approach.
It is very interesting to see how young artist use the digital and technological development in the approach. I find that very intriguing, and see a lot of potential to discuss and critique the way we treat citizens with special needs, in the future. In DK the vision is implementing welfare technology – in my view, this with a personally and empathic design approach. Lets see when we reach 2018…
HALLO! Hvor fedt, Trine. Stort tillykke. Håber at høre mere…. hvornår starter du?
Hej Louise – Tak 🙂 Slut august/start september!
