Duodenum – Duodopa

Skærmbillede 2015-09-09 kl. 11.20.30

The duodenum is connected to the device Duodopa – if you are a Parkinson’s patient in the stage of advanced Parkinson’s, and need the right amount of medicine at the right time a day.

As I am finishing my PhD plan with the working title: Intimacy in Wearables – Identifying how accessory thinking can transform wearable health technology to empathise a personal experience for citizens with special needs, my next step will be investigating Parkinson’s patients.

I am looking forward to understand the physical, psychological and emotional challenges a Parkinson’s patient face – to find relevant improvements for creating a personal experience of everyday use of pump medicine.

Back to work!
